When I look at expenses in dashboard or reports it appears it only shows in alphabetical order. I would like to have the option to sort them by amount ascending or descending too.
In Reports, you can click or tap the header for any month or year to sort the categories by amount, either ascending or descending. However, that sorting is temporary. When you refresh the page, the report will return to alphabetical order or the custom category order you set on the Categories page.
You’re right that the Dashboard currently does not support sorting categories by amount. It only uses your custom category order.
I can totally see why this would be useful. We’ll let other users chime in as well and use that feedback to help determine prioritization for the roadmap.
