Today FreeBudget supports picking a display currency (including AED and INR), but it only changes formatting. Amounts aren't converted between currencies.
What you're describing, a home currency with automatic conversion for transactions entered in other currencies, is a feature we'd need to build out properly with exchange rates across budgets, reports, and net worth. Definitely worth doing but would require a significant change to the current infrastructure.
I've logged your request and we'll factor it into our roadmap planning.
